There are so many choices when it comes to web hosting that it is often overwhelming.  Everyone has a favorite host and they are not always the same.  Some people say “You get what you pay for” but in my opinion and experience that just doesn’t fly.  I’ve gone with both expensive and inexpensive to down right cheap hosting and I’ve had good and bad experiences with all of them.

The right hosting solution really depends on the needs of your web site.  The best advice is to narrow down your options by looking at the features each host has to offer then go a step further and contact their customer support with a trivial question.  See how long it takes to get a response.  Are you on hold for a long period of time or do they answer you right away.  When choosing a web hosting company, nothing is more important than customer service.  If you can’t talk to someone when you are trying to purchase hosting, just imagine how difficult it will be when you really have a probelm.
